Farmer Brown came from someone ragging me about being a "barner" or an Auburn football fan. Brown is my wife's maiden name. They were trying to belittle me as much as possible. Farmer was a derogatory term as well as calling me by my wife's maiden name.

I built this '79 CJ5 in the 90's, I had a decal made that said Swamp Fever across the top of the windshield after this pic was taken. It had 10" of lift, those are 38" TSL swampers on it in the pic. Had 15"x14" wide Bart Wheels and 42" TSL's on it when I got rid of it.

After moving here from Georgia and being a avid Deer hunter for the majority of my life. I did not think that I would get a chance at a 160 class buck. Then one cold very cold morning in Bibb county there he was, a true monarch only thing was I could not get a clear shot at him and he was watching me as much as I was watching him. He simple took one step back and turned walking directly away from me keeping every limb and bush in his vital areas. finally I was in position to take a neck shot but decided against it hoping that we would have another encounter someday. I have been after him ever sense that morning and continue every season to sit a few times in that special tree. I shoot a model 700 Remington 30-06,hence the name Ghosthunter3006.

I was hunting with some friends in some swampy saw grass and someone said snake and I took off hopping from patch of grass to patch of grass to avoid the water made it back to the road. Everyone was laughing and my nickname was born ....Hopper.
