I done a mid day hunt at one my spots in Fayette county today didn't have any luck. I'm going to my Lamar county spot in the morning to try it.

Congrats guys... almost joined y'all twice this morning. Had two different strutters 70 yards away on two sets, but dumb hens ruined things... especially on the 2nd of the two. First gobbling I've heard this year.

Congratulations guys! I picked up a small tract of land Thursday. I went in blind on Friday morning. I got to a good listening had one fire up gobbling but he moved away from me. I went back yesterday morning and he started gobbling good again. I got within 200yds of him but there was hens roosted between him and me. He took his hens an went to the other guys property. I'm the only one who turkey hunts around there. So i hope i can call him to me in a few days.

Bamarich I'm in the same boat you are. I get to hear them gobble but never can get them within range. Tuesday morning i heard 6 different gobblers but couldn't get to them. I'm gonna try it in the morning. Good luck guys!
