I'm no biologist, but my understanding is that protein, calcium, and phosphorus are the three main elements needed when a buck is growing his rack. Maybe one of the biologist on the site can give more info on this..


I shared the mineral recipe with di-calcium phosphate that Fezzik posted here on Aldeer in 2002. The recipe was originally posted on mosportsman.com in the mid 90's or so by Allen "horntagger" Morris. He shared it on the QDMA website in 2003 if you care to read it westflgator.
