I forgot, my bad. I would open the doors again and get them hammering again. Then I would use paracord and tie it to the trigger and climb a tree near by. And catch them.
Those types of doors are NOT near as successful as folks made them out to be.

I remember attending a workshop on hogs in Wallsboro a few years ago. There was a DCNR biologist there and a USDA biologist there. They had all kinds of repetitive type gates on display. They did their presentation and then they had a guest speaker from Auburn there. This guy was a doctorial student or something like that and he was given a project to research different types of gates as part of his degree. He had tons of video and pictures of trap gates with pigs present.
He said only 5% of the pigs entered the repetitive type gates after the gate had been triggered. And the ones that did were all young pigs.
I make sure they are all in there before I drop.

Extreme did you see the electric fence the farmer put up on us across from Waffle House on the BE. As he was leveling for sod he kept dragging peanuts to the top...now it's in sod...not much deer protein there! Haven't seen that. I may head out there Sunday, I will look for it. You gettin hammered by the pigs?

Simple question; define smart. It's a relative and abstract term. If you going to say something is smart you have to compare it to something. See what i mean..Whats it matter??He said the hogs on his property have become educated by the hog traps. No different than deer patterning us.He didnt ask for any kinda English lesson on the word smart.

Simple question; define smart. It's a relative and abstract term. If you going to say something is smart you have to compare it to something. Smart as a tack? Smart as a whip? Dumb as a box of rocks? Those good comparisons...
