Had a similar experience at pet store...guy had a pit in line...I kept a respectable, obvious distance from his dog...on a ridiculous chain etc...guy said ..."aw he don't bite"...I replied as cold as possible with no facial expression (except my built in Army NCO scowl..."he wont bite but once...I promise you that"...
Me thinks he got the hint
Neighbor has one that'll be headed across 'pitbull Rainbow Bridge'...next time he comes thru my yard...
