I used to ride ATVs a LOT and sell ATV accessories (to fund my habit). From pure mud to Tellico rock climbing, I have owned all brands and worked on all brands. There is only one ATV that will be here when a nuclear bomb goes off, an old 300 4x4 Honda. Now, that said, the best, beefiest, best motor (Kawasaki at that), and tough as hell was a 2004 650 Arctic Cat. It has the v-twin Kawasaki 650, all steel floor boards, good rack system, can hold 28" tires if you desire, and a diff locker and automatic. Yea, I said Arctic Cat. Only reason I sold mine in in 2006 was my wife was scared of it and would not ride with me. Well, for what I sold it for I bought two for us.
