Been reading some of the posts from some of the new members. All you old farts tell some of the tales from our annual fishing trip we used to have before I saved y'all's life.
I will start. Skinny called a park ranger a "cock monkey"

Get bronco drunk and give him an empty clorox bottle, a hook, some line, a sinker, a bream, a pink towel, and some soap. And a gar will magically appear in the shower with him.
It takes a long time to grow an old friend.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

How about that sumbitch Larry. Never did get my trolling motor back. Been about 7 years now. Gonna kill that bastard if I ever see him again.

Delmer convincing George C. Tull he was the park ranger on the phone and GCT wondering how the park ranger got his number. Me and Delmer putting Mangler in his camper after he couldn't walk and bruising his ribs. Bronco threatening to kill Boone with a boat paddle while wearing nothing but his tighty whities.
The true mark of a man is not how he conducts himself during times of prosperity, but how he conducts himself during times of adversity.

I can honestly say that the fun I had at those first 3 tournaments is in the top 5 best times I've EVER had. And it was all for a great cause.

Funny thing also, 30 or so good ol country boys and not a one brought a stick of firewood!
