I am looking for a scope for my BLR 308. $350 or less is my price range. Anyone have anything they want to unload?

I'll buy that BLR so you won't have to worry about a scope for it smile

I do have this scope that is currently mounted on my 308. It has some knicks on the outside from this season but the glass is flawless. Excellent low light scope with the illuminated #4 reticle. It isn't possible to buy better for the money. I'd take $325 shipped.

Check out Nikon Coyote 4.5-14x40
or 3-9x40 on the lower end, or you may get find the Leupold VX3 3.5-10 or 4.5-14, used, in that range. I don't find any need for more than 8x, on my non-varmint rigs, and run .308s to 600 & 1000, with no more than 10x, in most cases. Deer and hogs at 300 & further, is no problem at 6x. It is easier to judge deer at higher mag, but I like to do that with binos/spotters, IF time allows.

I had a Leupold 2x7 33 on mine. Seemed a perfect fit to me.

Nikon Buckmaster 4-14x40 with side focus. I'll take $275. I bought it new several years ago and it's been on my 300wm. Thinking about upgrading.
