Nothing today. Beavers are either gonna rebuild dams or relocate this weekend because I've got some water flowing out of their ponds right now.

Came up empty as well. I did kill 3 hogs yesterday and cabled 2 of them off to a tree today. Soon as the rain passes I will set some traps near them.

K I hope you have better luck using bait piles than I have. I've got 2 piles of beaver carcasses rotting right now and I haven't seen a dang coyote track around them yet.

I was hoping to get the traps back far enough to avoid the buzzards and hawks. They are in a strip of pines 8 rows wide that divides a field and at the intersection of two trails through the pines. The is coyote scat on one trail near the hogs so they do occasionally use the trail.

I only caught one dummy this morning! Note to self: A Sleepy Creek 4.5 double long spring will bite through leather gloves with rubber gauntlets over them. Both places that I'm trapping have drained down to the point that I'm having to move traps each morning to keep them in water.

Nothing today for me!
Good job Stripe! Another egg sucker gone.
Coffee I never knew we had as many otter as we do but every creek or stream I set usually produces a pair or two!

Nothing again! Pulled all my traps except 2 I have here at home. I'll be after the coyotes here again in a couple weeks.

Finally connected with something other than a coon or possum. Also caught a coon and a possum this morning. So far 9 possum, 6 coons and the cat. [img:left] [/img]

Was beginning to wonder about my technique on the dirt hole. That set had been in almost 3 weeks and freshened up Saturday. With K9's having a better nose I assume they are harder to catch?
