Keep its wings clipped and don't let it fly around in the house. They chew on anything and leave bird dander and feathers everywhere. They can be taught to talk or whistle songs. They live for a long time unless they fly into a ceiling fan.
Grandma said...Always keep a gun close at hand, you just never know when you might run across some varmint that needs killing...
