He is a tough buck. I'm going to hunt the area the rest of the day, but I think his shoulder swallowed that slug. Merely a flesh wound. Don't think his shoulder could take a slug but it could have grazed him. In my opinion if he stopped and ate; he isn't hurting too bad. Also depending on how long he was stopped that's not much blood. Again, this is only my opinion and I would much rather you find him! Good luck
