Does anyone know what body creates the rules and regulations for the WMAs, and whether (and how) they take public input? There are some inconsistencies that make no sense to me that I'd like to bring to the attention of the powers that be (particularly in regards to allowable weapons for small game hunting).

thanks,
GB?

regulations are set by the Commish

laws are set by the legislature

99% of the WMA "rules" are regs...so ya gotta talk to the boys at G&F in Montgomery....or the Advisory Board.....

I've been reading mine more than normal with this stomach virus and your right. I didn't know it was against the law to kill a fox on a wma. I didn't know a bobcat had to be tagged by the state.

That's the form you use to request changes to rules.
