Anyone else not seeing a rut or deer for that matter. The past years rut has been going full boar.

I'm sure it still is, you just ain't seeing it. It happens, whether we are in the right place, or not.

In Minter, it seems to be right on schedule. We usually kill a few bucks around the 10th every year and we did just that. We had a lot of deer show up on the 9th and bucks are coming in the fields checking on does. I hope this weekend the big boys show up.

Not seeing hardly any rut signs in autauga co near Billingsley either. We usually done killed a few rutting bucks but nothing this yr so far. Our season as a whole has been slow from recent years.

I have seen the small bucks pushing the does. I saw 25 last sat morning on the gasoline, but they are not coming to the green fields which is very uncommon where I hunt. I think the weather hasn't helped at all. We haven't even hunted the greenfields I still think there are a lot of acorns still in the woods.

Hunted hard all weekend and it was slow. Had bucks come out on plots and not act interested in the does. Scrapes everywhere so I hope it picks up next week. We had a 225lb 7pt killed around does but there was zero chasing seen.

Still slow in Billingsley. No rut activity at all. Seeing does in groups. No racks seen at our club at all last week end. Worst deer movement I seen in long time.

This is the worst rut I have ever seen on our place in Tyler since I joined. I saw one mature deer on his feet following a doe. He busted me drawing on him. I normally have several mature deer on camera by now. In most years I would have already seen several mature deer by now.

We are just north of Orville. We started seeing real good chasing and cruising last weekend. All of the bucks were very young.

The studs we have on camera are still there, still nocturnal.

I hope by this weekend they decide to join in on the chasing fun.

It has really slowed down at our place like stated above. Hopefully something happens soon.

I know of some really big deer killed in safford last weekend, so I would assume they are starting to act right.
