No, we have not put out any corn. I was thinking that if the corn is over 100 yards away and out of sight that it would keep the deer from visiting the plots. Now I'm thinking that it might of helped to at least get them on their feet during the day. No it won't.

Food sources near thickets and available bedding areas usually see more day activity, and sometimes all day. Food, in relation, to bed, is critical in deer sightings.
Ya'll read these two sentences again, and keep them in mind if ya wanta see and/or kill deer. So how do you find these food sources? In thick stuff, there's always something green. How do you know you're in the right area? Go till I find hot sign or see deer. If what I'm doing isn't working , I'm doing something different and quick.

Blessed, feeding is legal. Hunting by the aid of bait is not. Regardless, there's a heck of a lot of feeding going on, whether it's being hunted over or not. One of the quickest ways to make the go nocturnal is to put corn out all over the place. I haven't had feeders out on my place here in FL in about 5 yrs. I had a guy that's hunting my land talk me into putting them back out this year, and we've seen less deer this year than I have ever seen on my place. Almost all of our pics are at night. My place is setup where we can slip in and out from the perimeter without putting much pressure on deer in the woods. All my stands can be accessed without out the deer in the plots seeing you come or go. We have hunted my place very little since I'm in a club and do most of my hunting there, and my buddy works all the time and hasn't hunted that much. Last year I had all kinds of day pics of bucks, and we say does almost every time we went.

Last year I had all kinds of day pics of bucks, and we say does almost every time we went. That's interesting, concerning corn and nighttime feeding. Also having a route into and out of a stand on a plot where you can sneak in and out without being detected. I hunted after school today, on the powerline food plot. I'm sure you know where that is since you've hunted the same club in Glendale. I had two does feeding on the plot and they were still there when it was time to get out and go home. Because there is no 'escape' route out of the stand, I tried to make a little bit of noise to run them off so I could get out without being seen. It didn't work. I finally just stepped out and they took off, lol. It would have been nice to be able to slip out the back door and not give myself up, but I didn't have a choice.

In summary:
Deer hunters hunted three times as much to kill deer in areas with feeding stations than hunters on properties without feeding stations.
Nocturnal movements increased measurably in areas with feeding stations.
Hunter satisfaction decreased in areas with feeding stations.
Deer were heavier in areas with feeding stations, and probably had a direct correlation with nocturnal movements and hunter success.

Centralala, read this and then call it BS. My own observations FULLY back this data too. Feeding is the devil Show me where it says CORN like all others are stating. You are saying FEED. FEED maybe. But if you are saying you can feed soybeans and they won't go nocturnal but if you feed corn they will you are wrong. People are stating CORN makes them nocturnal, not all feed.

Apparently you didn't read the link, or you would have known that feed is defined in the article as corn.

And supplemental feed of all kinds has the same impact, whether it's corn or not. Corn is highly desired by deer, and often the most preferred feed type.

Apparently you didn't read the link, or you would have known that feed is defined in the article as corn. Everyone states corn. They should say feed. Corn is not the only feed that will make them go nocturnal. There is no ONE food that will make them go nocturnal and you can feed others and they won't. Corn is not making them go nocturnal, feed is making them nocturnal whether its corn, soybeans, etc.
