if they don't have collars, you should try and shoot each one you see and leave those bastards for the buzzards and fire ants..

So basically yall are telling me that I was wrong for shooting at a dog? If so then tell me what you would've done if you were sitting in the stand and had dogs running all around you for about the third or fourth time this year. It's just really aggrivating when I've put all this time and money into trying to kill a couple nice bucks I have on camera and I don't get to go all the time like I would like to and then when I do get to go all I see is dogs running around. I would have caught the dog and took the dog back to the owner. Shooting a hunting dog is like shooting a hunter..You will be charged with the murder of a hunter... Same as if you shoot the police dog..you will be charged with shooting a cop....Im also saying you would have missed the deer also if it was running since you missed a dog. You sorry piece of shucks!!! About 85% of the hunters I know can read a no trespassing sign. If there is a chance your dog can't read or just doesn't give a damn whether its tresspassing or not, you need to keep his ass on a leash. If your dog trespasses on a regular basis and you let it happen, you shouldn't be offended or suprised at any outcome. (using the word "you" in general here, not to you specificaly).

I'm not gonna get caught up in this argument but any man that cares more for his dogs life than his own, has got a screw loose and his priorities mixed up. I'd also bet none of these guys have ever killed anyone over a dog but I guess stranger things are possible when dealing with those who value an animal more than a human.

you made that chitt up right after hitting the crack pipe, didn't ya????? Read your laws boy. Around these parts you shoot a mans dog the law wont have to do a thing about it. Them dog owners care alot more about there dogs then they do there own life... Be careful shooting another mans dog can harm your own life.! That schit works both ways hoss.

Austin. I used to fly off the handle on post like this. But then I growed up a little. I love dog hunting as much if not more than anybody. BUT, you got to look at it through there eyes and point of view. Regardless of what I think a HUNTING dog will or won't do on another mans property. It's still HIS property. So therefore he has the right to hunt it how HE wants. That's the biggest reason I HATE it if our dogs cross out. Just stating the facts. But I don't agree with shooting them, especially making it public. I look at it like this. If he wants dog on his land he will bring his own.

Daniel, with this attitude, I doubt you have very many problems. It's the ones that don't care who it affects that get all this crap started anyway. I've wondered if those "hunters without borders" guys would like it if i ran 4 or 5 of my rowdy 12 year old nephews through thier houses at breakfast, lunch, and supper a few times a week.

This has been argued for years on ALDEER... I was thinking the other day, and how would you fellers feel about taking a BB gun with you and shoot them dogs in the hind end? Now I aint talking about no high powered air rifle, but a good old Red Ryder lever action BB gun like we all had when we were kids. Not enough to seriously injure the poor mut, but enough to get his attention and not want to come back that way again.
