I don't understand how your bill could be that much. I have 4 lines and a mifi with 15 gigs of data and my bill is less than $300 ever month with them.

It soundsl like you are going way over your data plan and that cost $$$$$.

with strate talk, depending on the phone you buy. It will be eithier verizion or atat towers. I reccomend verizion. Also unlimited, isnt neccesarily unlimited. After a certain amount of data, they throttle you down.

Verizon is the only one I will have where I live. AT&T sucks here!!

We were paying $230 a month for 2 lines and still run out of data. I dumped verizon about 8 months ago and now my bill is just shy of $100 for both lines. The only complaint so far is my phone runs on verizon toweres and I get no service in Kentucky but could if I have a phone that runs on att towers.

Phone service with Verizon is great but customer service stinks.

I know my sister can call Verizon raise hell and get anything she wants. She bought a Iphone 4 called them after she has trouble with it and they sent her Iphone 4s grin

I have Verizon and have had them for probably ten years. I got smart about three years ago and quit resigning contracts. I've been out of contract for about a year or More now. I am one of the few left on unlimited data (grandfathered in)..which is pretty much unheard of now days unless you have deep pockets.

I still pay for it though, because my bill runs about $200/month for both mine and my wife's phones.

I have no problem with service. Used smartphones can be had for $150 or do if you buy last year's model.

I've thought of switching us to straight talk, but I can't decide whether or not I can deal with a data cap. I regularly hit and exceed 3 GB a month. My wife doesn't but I seem to.

Verizon, works pretty much everywhere I go. Camp on the river is close to Whites Bluff south of Selma, I can text at a window but have to go outside to use the phone. Not enough signal to hotspot internet unfortunately but it beats nothing. AT&T would lose all signal before I got out of the city limits of Greenville and wouldnt get signal again to almost Selma, they blow! Unlimited talk/text and 8G of data runs about $160 a month.

So weird.

Its a matter of time before they get you off that unlimited data, I was on it as well, when I upgraded had to sign the contract...

You're already under a data cap and don't know it. Research it. Verizon throttles their old unlimited data customers after either 2 or 3 gb of 4G service. That's what finally pushed me to straight talk.

I'm still debating on going to ST don't get me wrong I get signal everywhere I go but customer service is terrible and I hate the fact of being tied into a contract
