Anybody local with a good dog that could help me find this deer? I shot him at 745, I don't know if it is better to try a dog now or wait until morning. Thanks. Looks to be good blood and i hope hes dead but i made a long shot a few years ago on a big buck that bled like that for probably 2 miles and i never found him.Where he layed down it looked like you poured 5 gallons of blood out.I didnt think there was any way he would be over 75 yards away from where he layed.After almost 6 hours of trailing blood it stopped and the deer was nowhere to be found.I dont know how in the world the deer still had any blood left in him but we sure never found him.Craziest thing i ever saw.
