How tough to break is your bank?

Is this a long range gun?

Are you concerned about weight? I would assume not since it's a 300 win mag.

Not over 500, just regular hunting situations 100 to 300 yard shots.

On a budget the VX2 is an excellent choice.

Any of the scopes above would be fine but if you can find one of these it is very close to the Meopta Meostar in clarity and low light performance and it will hold up as well as any scope made.

Get the Conquest 3x9 50mm. Probably can beat that $529 price. I paid $399 for mine at Marks a couple of years ago.

And if you want a 30mm, get the 3-12x56. Every now and then you can find them for just over 500

That Cameraland new $399 3.5-10X44 Meopta is hard to beat.

Meopta would be my pick. My only complaint is the soft turret clicks, but for a set it and leave it rifle it's fine.

I wouldn't have a problem with a Meopta scope.
