I hope it's not Coker as well. I'm hoping a young guy wins it and can play a couple years... Damn, that it a selfish thing for a 'fan' to say. The kid could have gone just about anywhere and chose Bama and now the 'fans' are pulling against him. Nothing "selfish" about it. I "prefer" to have a QB run the offense for 2 or 3 years instead of another one and done QB. And I said "I hope a young guy wins it" as in if he's better than Coker, he starts.

I've always pulled for the best to win the job. I thought that is what everyone did?
It really just goes to show that all the talk 'proud of Sims for waiting his turn' was really a line of BS. Sims had a great year and had won his time at QB. You're pretty good at "adding" BS to peoples thoughts and reading into more than what the individuals say. No one said they didn't want the best QB to win the spot. If Cocker did not start at FSU, did not start at Bama and, your team is supposedly loaded with young QB talent, who says you can't "hope" a young guy wins the job?? Oh, you do, lol

I predict Coker will win the starting job he prob has the best arm of any of them, and has best shot of being a high draft pick of any QB they have had in a long time. That will let the kid from CA get a year to learn then it will be his turn.

I would like to see Coker get a shot and be successful. I hope Barnett gets a year in the program and puts some weight on cause there aint no way that kid is 200 pounds. I would also like to see Bateman get a shot. I think that he could be pretty good.

Very valid question Crenshaw. Unless Coker channels his inner Blake Simms and improves immensely, he'll have a better chance back at fsu. I think (hope) one of the younger guys realize the opportunity and seizes it during the spring. I agree. Coker would be here for one year then we would be starting over again. I hope a freshman or sophomore wins job and plays for three or four years.
