What's the most expensive yearly dues you are aware of that someone paid to hunt a club. I remember one in the land lease section a while back that was around 2,800.

If the Dollar Hyde club (Tuscaloosa county I think) is still going it used to be something like 40,000. but I think that was lifetime.

That was maybe 15 years ago.

My dad used to pay $3500 a year for a south Montgomery county club we were in. Between 8 members, there were 48ish 8pt or better outside the ears bucks killed the last year we were in it. There were several 140's killed out of that bunch. Something like that is worth the money if you ask me. You could hunt hard for one year, and kill more good bama bucks than most people would in 10 years on a normal lease. I think we killed 5 between the two of us, all p&y bucks. That was only hunting the weekends. 2 retired members, killed around 10 a piece.

Camp creek in Braggs was like 2600 several years ago when my uncle got out. Extra 700-800 for a camper spot. But that was some prime land

We will burn that bridge when we get there

Ours is 2850 a year. Prime property and excellent habitat. Got some friends in one in the glades that's 10000+ a year.. some serious wildlife on their club down there. Shoot 130 class deer on the regular.. just doesn't seem right hunting in this weather down here though..

Ya would think some of those real high roller hunters would buy their own property.

Yall should check into some duck leases in Arkansas. Prime green timber is outrageous.

That's a good point.

That's what I was thinking. They could make a land mortgage payment cheaper than some of those dues.

Next question we should ask is where do these people work and are they hiring haha!Must be nice to be able to spend that much money on recreation. Hunting is expensive without a doubt. If I paid that much I would definitely hope to kill a stud each year and probably cry myself to sleep at night if I didn't.

Are land prices driving the leases this high? Or does the 5000 cover seed, off season feeding and place to stay? Maybe one of these wealthy hunters will chime in with us. Also why are leases in georgia cheaper than alabama? Basically same type deer just an earlier rut. I've seen some absolute giants come out of the peach state. Have a few friends and if you pay 1000 bucks over there you can find a top notch place!
