I was blessed again yesterday with a nice Bama pine goat with my bow. I hunted a nice little water oak bottom and 20 min before dark the deer started moving. Within a few minutes I had two rack bucks, two smaller bucks and several does within bow range. This deer finally offered me a 37 yard broad side shot. I was a little hesitant to try the shot because I haven't drawn my bow in a month. I decided to draw on him to see if it felt right. I took my time and settled the pin where I wanted it. Everything felt good so I touched off the shot. I absolutely smoked him and he only made it a short distance from my tree before piling up. He's no monster but a nice mature buck for Bama. He's was nice and fat, weighed in at 215#.

Comes to us at midnight very clean.
It's perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands.
It hopes we've learned something from yesterday."
