Temperature don't matter. Wait till the next moon phase begins to wane. Should be around the 10th or so of Jan. They will start earlier on, but you will see more daylight movement after the full moon on the 6th. Does usually come in to estrus within 3-4 days either side of a full moon. The last two yrs I shot a good one in January. One was when the moon was at 93%illumination, the other at 86%. I have shot good deer at other times, but they were all on food sources and not chasing. Don't know about what everyone else thinks, but it works for me every yr.
You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself any direction you choose. You're on your own. And you know what you know. And YOU are the one who'll decide where to go.... (Seuss)

interesting info. above.
As antlerhunter said, temp. doesn't have any impact on breeding, but can on over all movement, if it's really warm. As long as the temps are normal you should see bucks starting to chase soon. I'd be in your stand the last few days of December and first few days of January if your in the northern side of skyline. If further south you are probably looking at Jan 2-10.
The 10th is about 7 to 10 days late for us, regardless of moon phase, but I do agree moon phase impacts movement.
