Wife got some 1.5 inch ribeyes...Me and the youngest like them medium...wife and oldest like the well done...

How long do yall let them sit for well done per side?...

I usually do 8 mins per side for medium...but these are thick...

Week, it depends on how hot you fire is. You should be able to feel when they are ready if you touch them.

Average thickness steak over med heat is 7 min a side. Id prob go 4 flips at the 4 min mark. Should be delicious


Give me bout 15 more minutes, I was dreamin about beavers..........

Mrs .308 likes hers well done so I cook it first over medium heat to get it done but not burned then I kick the fire up to around 700 & sear mine med rare.

1", 700deg F, 2.5min on each side is perfect rare-med rare. Maybe double that for well done?

I started doing this after Rebelman posted it a while back. I've had no complaints and have cooked them like this on the BGE ever since. beers
