Nothing dead. I had probably 40 deer in bow range during 3 hunts. Passed a ton of does and smaller bucks. Had a 120ish 8 come trotting in to a bleat followed by some grunts this morning. I drew and stopped him in a shooting lane at 15yds, but thought he was smaller at the time, then my next clear veiw was at 50. At that point I realized I should have shot his ass.

I looked at the updated scores and your doe is not counted as points for our team. I copied and pasted the original rules and they are :

INSTRUCTIONS for entering a deer and RULES.

To submit an entry a participant must include :
1. Your SCREEN NAME

2. TEAM NAME and TEAM NUMBER. If posting for someone else say so and post the correct info for them.

3. If applicable, the number of tines that are longer than 1 inch (main beam counts). If you don't write the number of points on the paper or include the number of points in your post I am deleting it. I don't care who you are or how little time you have to post it, do it right or it's gone and you can try again after reading the rules.

4. Post the required pictures. CAPES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED! The photo must show at least the entire front half of the deer or more showing the head attached to the body. Skull plates, mounts, or caped out deer will not be accepted! You have one of two ways to enter your deer. A picture of yourself with the deer with the points all showing or you may take a picture of the deer with SOMETHING (Paper plate/Piece of paper/Newspaper with the date readable) with the date, antler points if a buck, and team name and number.

5. Each team member may enter 1 doe and 1 buck. If you kill a buck with more points than the first one you enter you can enter one later in the year if it is worth more points and upgrade.

ADDITIONAL PHOTOS COULD BE REQUIRED.
If the first photo does not show all scoreable points, additional photos showing those points will be required. If 1 inch tine length is questionable go ahead and supply a photo with the original post with a measurement against the tine for verification. Nearly all issues are resolved with GOOD pictures.

Points are as follows : 5 points for a DEER and 1 additional point for each tine over 1"

5 Bonus points will be awarded to each team where each member kills and enters a doe.

As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Deer tracker I hunt in Shelby county. I did see 3 bucks yesterday, one was a shooter 6 point. I wasn't able to get a shot but at least I know he is around.

I went Thursday and Friday and saw nothing both days. Hot Thursday and Friday a little cooler. Hunted my go to spot from last year wanted to get a good friend a doe but saw nothing.
Got a banquet at church this morning and a yard full of leaves to address this afternoon. May be done until one afternoon next week before taking Thursday and Friday off again.

Guys,

Just checking in with the team. I've only hunted twice so far this year as my wife and I welcomed a baby girl into the world on 11/18. I saw 32 deer (28 does/yearlings & 4 young bucks) on the afternoon of 11/28 and 13 does/yearlings on the morning of 11/29. I plan on hunting a couple times between Thurs and Sun this week, but won't really start hunting until Jan 15ish.

Good luck!

Nothing like a baby!!! Your life/world as you know it will never be the same. You will be surprised how babies change weekly in how they act and their looks. cherish each one and may God richly bless you and your family.

Well I've been busy as crap with my new job but I'm finally in the woods today. I sat the swamp this morning and saw two but didn't have a shot. Now I'm sitting I a 1 acre food plot surrounded by pines. Hoping to put some meat in the freezer and points on the board for us!

Just killed a hoss with my bow. Wish the rack matched the body, easily one of the biggest bodied deer I've killed. Only a medium 7 though. But I'm happy

Got me a doe yesterday right at sunset. Not the biggest, but it'll be meat in my freezer!

Congrats. Please post a picture so I can see what a deer looks like. Been shut out for the last two weeks.

Went again Saturday. Stayed to about 1:00 PM and only saw a coyote about 8:00 AM but was unable to get on it for a shot.

Went yesterday and sat in light rain for about 2 hours. About the time the rain stopped, saw a really nice buck cruising through the thick stuff about 125 yards away. Unable to get on him. Saw a similar buck in same general area last year. Maybe next week.
Saw nothing else but heard one run off and located a new rub about 40 yards from my set up
