It's been slow, but I can't imagine sitting for 5 days and not seeing a deer!!! Full moon and hot weather together will make for some hard hunting for sure. What's strange at my place is I haven't seen any scrapes yet.
On my Alabama property in extreme northern Autauga county I've gone the last several years and it's not out of the normal to see less than 5 deer for the entire season, or 20 hunts spread out from opening day till Jan 31.
