If you were shorted, it wasn't by much. I'm not sure how you can hit a deer in the shoulder and not mess it up. They're usually a bloody mess when you remove the hide. Lastly, having used quite a few processors over the years, the ones that gave me the most meat back, were the guys that did a poor job of trimming away the sinew and silver skin. I always got a little less back from the guys that gave me the best product. This
