Anyone here ever hunt it? It's only about 8 miles from one of my leases and I was curious about the food plots. Are the worth bow hunting for does?

I have never hunted the plots but I have hunted on some of the narrow cuts behind some of the natural gas wells that are about 8 -10 yards wide . Some of these go back into the woods a good ways. I found a good crossing and just about every sit I had at least one doe come through. I have done this numerous times at mulberry . Most the time it was during gun hunts and I didn't have an either sex tag but it worked for me. Not exactly what you was asking but thought it might help

Its not that far from me but I have some buddies that hunt it on the gun hunts and have killed a couple decent bucks on it. I don't think they killed them on the fields but mainly firelanes or roads. Its covered up with hogs if that interests you. One of my buddies killed a truckload last year during squirrel season with a 17hmr.

If your decoy doesnt have holes in it, your not letting him get close enough... J.H.

I'm curious about Mulberry too. I wonder how busy their gun days are? You don't see much discussion on here. From my limited experience, the roads are not as nice as other WMAs I've been on and the terrain can be more intense (relatively speaking).
