Last year we lost both of our cats within a few months of each other. One was 22 years old and the other was 15 years old. It is rough, and will hurt, but with time it will get better. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss. It doesn't matter what it is as long as it's a pet we get attach to it or love it if you will. And when it dies it hurts like hell. I feel very fortunate in my life that I haven't had that many horrible days I didn't think I could make it through and two of them was saying good bye to a pet.

I'd be more upset that you have all that leftover tender vittles.
Life is a journey. Make sure and bring plenty of Beer.
My luck has been so bad lately, it could be raining pussies and I'd catch one with a dick broke off in it.

You guys will be great parents. Give that a shot and there will be a whole new outlook on cats.

you guys mocking the OP: would you be doing that if he'd lost a dog under the same circumstances? probably not ... If this was directed toward me. Then no I wouldn't. A dog is something a man carries to the field hunting. It's waiting on him when it gets if work. It knows when he is having a bad day. But a cat?? It just sets around and licks his azz, then wants to get in your face. Or crawl all over your kitchen counters. I hate cats. So bash all you want. I was just trying to lighten the mood. Carry on. And cats are kinda gay...
