Back at it this morning watching a big cutover

I'm in a hardwood draw in between a cut over and food plot. Still got some acorns dropping in here.

In the pines this morning. Heard first shot at 6:05.

Set up one the same road crossing as yesterday. Trying redeem myself from a couple misses last year. Bi-pod mounted sniper mode. Lol

I think I'm in squirrel central this morning. They are running everywhere!

Well just had a buck come by running wide open...30 seconds later 4 dogs came by wide open. Not how I wanted my hunt to go.

Had a small deer run through the field parallel to me.

I'm in a funnel on the edge of a cutover in Lamar county. Kinda thick in here. Nothing besides squirrels so far.

Apparently the neighbors are getting their timber cut and it sounds like the logging crew is in the stand with me it's so loud.. They haven't pushes any deer my way yet
