Very few people in Alabama own a large enough piece of land that a dog will not cross on to other peoples property when out roaming. If you have a dog and care enough for it that you don't want it shot, you need to put up a fence, build a kennel or tie it up. When you see a dog day after day you know it did not escape it's pen. People don't like other peoples dogs causing havoc on there property killing there animals getting in the garbage growling at them etc etc. This is a easily fixed situation. The only question is who fixes it the owner of the dog with a fence or someone else with a gun. Keep them up or don't get upset when fido don't come home.
