Set up now. Seen a few rubs, still no scrapes though weird. West wind correct but these gusts are well over 10mph. Did bump a doe walking jn What general area are you in? Maybe I can point you towards where I've been seeing alot of chasing.

Tried 540 today...ground blind with crossbow...nothing...forgot how rough this place can be.....Is Zone B as mountainous?...any advice where I can put some meat on the ground? From ground blind....back injury keeps me from climbing...thanks guys.. I've hunted one spot off 540 for the last 5 years and I can't tell you the last time I hunted it and didn't see at least one deer. All the deer I see are within a 200 yard radius traveling a specific ridge and a specific finger that isn't as high as the ones to the left and the right of it (these fingers seem to be where I see most activity throughout Chocc.) You just have to put the leg work in and find these specific areas. Zone B is about the same terrain wise except over near hwy. 281 entrance, the hills are more rolling than steep. Now if you venture up onto Bains Gap you better be in shape.
