I did see a piebald fawn though on that first hunt, first one ive ever seen, pretty cool. Ill probably wait till work slows down before i shoot a doe, ive been wore out lately and feeling a little lazy So just looking for big horns for now. My trigger finger aint itching to bad yet Good luck fellas

We hunted all day up in TN on the youth hunt and did not see a single deer. This is the first time my son has ever been skunked on a TN youth hunt. Very frustrating. Maybe next time.

Any luck?
I shot an 8-point in South Dakota last week but I haven't posted pics yet of him so we are "on" the board at least.

Congrats BGH! We have done some scouting to get ready for the youth hunt but haven't really had time to hunt. That is about to change after Saturday.

Headed to Tennessee with the muzzleloader in the morning. Maybe I'll see a deer this trip.

Yeah you may be rite, Im after shooters tho, not culls, I enjoy watchin em as much as i do killin em, The 3 bucks were a 3pt, a 4pt and a 6pt. The 6 and 4pt were 1.5 yr old deer, the 3pt looked to be 2.5. He had a wide spread to be a 3pt. Probably 14-16" beams with one little brow tine, and around a 13-15" spread. He was the deer that mounted the 4pt, they was at 25 yards for 15minutes. and within range for a half hour, I kept hearing something else, was hoping for a bigger one to step out but that never happened, I really enjoyed the hunt tho.

Congrats BGH! That's a good looking buck. My son J-Slaya is on the board with a doe. I will try to get the pictures posted tonight. And here it is.

We have been seeing a bunch of little bucks but nothing legal to shoot where we have been hunting. Maybe the bigger deer will get on their feet soon.
