James at Hickory Nut Kennels in Cullman AL breeds great dogs. I have 2 of them and am getting another early December. They just had a litter that is about a week old now.

What are so good about his dogs? It's certainly not pedigree and health clearances. Those are newspaper breedings at best sold for who knows what. Educate yourself before buying a lab, they aren't all created equal.

Well for me pedigree and health clearances a very important. It's also important the experiences I have had with his dogs, not only the ones I personally own but also seeing his dogs work in competitions and knowing their owners. I'm sure there are other good ones out there but my personal experience is I know these are good.

Juice- Have you had an actual experience with them?

CrappieKing- I hope whatever you find satisfies you as much as ours have. Ours was picking up doves in heavy cover at 6 months, blood trailed 2 deer this season and is a great family pet.
