It is what it is. Thank y'all from the bottom of my heart for rallying around Brody and pushing him to the top. I can never thank you enough for your selflessness and encouragement. Y'all are GOOD people. Brody is and forever will be a winner in this Mama's book!

Well, I have written Paenting done right and Snake Creek Outfitters, Time to start a drive with ...Snake Creek outfitter to get this young man a hunt. Also Jessica Newton Walker" on facebook who works with Parenting done right outdoors.

Hell yes this is BS. Give us email addresses, phone numbers, etc...

Brody just came in my room smiling and said "Mama I won!" That was a really tough conversation. Bless his heart.

They added some votes from another contest page that they initially started before Brody entered. When Brody entered the contest it had been moved to their website making it more user friendly. They added her first votes to her YouTube votes giving her 20 votes more than Brody. But again, the rules page never stated any other votes or likes would be added after the fact. I couldn't even sleep last night because I was so angry. After the year Brody has gone through, I was hoping this would be his chance to have something positive happen to make him smile & it turned into something that just broke his heart. I feel totally blindsided by all of it.

BUT with that said, we are still blessed beyond what we deserve & we'll keep on keeping on. They can keep their hunt. Me & my boy are fixing to go get us a Jack's biscuit & then see what we can get into at Trade Day.

This is a bunch of BS.

I'll be more than happy to take Brody on my lease. Just pm me and we can set it up.

My exact thoughts, I'm thinking it's a blessing in disguise. We are gonna get this young man a hunt, I'll be on it after the weekend is over.

Brody's so very lucky to have a mother like you that loves and encourages him to enjoy the outdoors and that is so much more important than a popularity contest.

Man, this is disappointing to read this morning. I can only imagine how heartbreaking it is for y'all. Really hate when rules of the game are changed and not communicated. Pretty sketchy that they pulled down her video too. Oh well, the way this looks, it's probably for the better than he didn't win and something better will come of it.

I saw the numbers about 30 minutes before the contest ended and Brody was up by about 50 votes. Sooooo, somebody.....somewhere.....is a lying SOB!

This may be a case of "somebody knows somebody".

Or, the lady from PDR wanted to take a little girl.

Either way, I don't think that young fellow is going to have a hard time finding someone to take him hunting.

I'm pretty sure we could hook him up with a hunt in every county in alabama this year.

I was thinking the same thing, I am sure there is a aldeer brother out there close to you that would be honored to take Brody on a hunt!

Thank y'all very much for your kind words. After a Trade Day corndog with my boy, I've managed to calm down. We sat & talked a while & both came to the conclusion that God has a bigger plan for Brody through this. We don't know what it is and yes this hurt him, but we both think he'll come out better because of it. Neither of us want to hunt with an organization with these morals..or lack of. I guess we were just used to get their name out there but regardless, I know my boy will keep shining!

The offers for hunts for Brody are incredibly generous & I'm certain he'd jump at the chance!
