And Monticello , everybody had your idea about the 13 side. There's deer there to be had, but can be some tough hunting. Because of too many hunters or the terrain? It looks like there is only maybe 500 acres north of the river on the helena side available now. Little bit of both... If you wanna spot...You better get to the check in station early for deer season... But if you can get to the hard to reach spots by walking..You can get to some good deer.. They have alot of gates closed to drive in traffic..but you can walk around them to hunt... MY LAST TURKEY HUNT OUT THERE WAS A 2.4 MILE WALK FROM THE GATE. STILL HAD SOMEONE DRIVE PAST ME THAT DROVE IN ON THE POWERLINE
