Make about an 8" loop with about 80% of your rope then use the rest to wrap tightly around the loop. Hint: parachute cord works best.

Yep like the illustration above. Problem solved.

Or buy a retractable dog leash. Fits nicely in backpack and never have to worry with it tangling. Attach, climb, pull up bow. Leash then retracts into convenient shell.
Ya'll are just overthinking it now

Just put a different pull up rope on all your stands so you don't have to carry it with you. Paracord ain't that expensive. On my climbers, I wrap it around the stand before I take it off the tree.
Yeah c’mon. Daniel White

I bought a couple plastics hooks and duct tape them on the side rail of my summit. Then tied on one end of parachute cord and then wrap my pull rope around the hooks when the bow is up. I haven't untied that rope in about 8 years and never will forget it.

I do this as well. Except I went and bought a 3 in boat cleet and attached it to my rail. I then just wrap my pull up rope around it and use it when I need it and it stays neat and out of the way.
