I've heard nothing but bad reviews on their service ... I know nothing about their usefullness

Sucks, I bought 2 to try and catch someone doing something they shouldn't and needed cameras asap so I picked these up. After a week that was over so I moved them into the woods. I had one crap out after a month and the other will get stuck taking pictures every 2 minutes when there is no wind, not on time lapse and it runs out of memory.

if you get them from walmart, put the insurance through the store on them. did that with a busnell i got last year and it saved me, cause it tore up after 2 months.

I really like the Moultrie 990. Pay a little more and get a whole lot better camera. You really do get what you pay for, to a degree. I would never spend $300+ on a camera to put in the woods.

I have two. One is starting its third season and the other it's second. They have both been used hard and both have worked without a hitch .

I have the Moultrie D-44 coming up on a year a I've just started having problems. It will taking pictures but not save them to the SD card and it not even taking pictures at all, but up to the point when it started going to shucks it was the best camera I've ever owned, perfect picture ando.

Seems most every camera I've owned only last a year or two
