I have a M70 coyote light. The chamber was out on the org. barrel. I didn't know it until I had it re-barreled with a fast twist to run 115-105 gr pills. The actions was dead nuts on per the gunsmith but the chamber was not cut straight this was why I couldn't get a load that would shoot at distance. I was shooting my loads at 100 yards and shooting 1moa moved out to a 600 yard nra f-class target at 500y ( this was a modified match as the range only had 500 y to work with) and it shoot all over the target holding the same poa. The pattern looked more like buckshot on the target rather than a rifle firing 20 rounds down range.

But I do love the actions!


Was the bullet not properly stabilized? Don't see how it could shoot worse at longer range otherwise.
