Interesting thing though once you get into the hills north of Monroeville, you see way more timbers.

I grew up in Baldwin Co and only remember ever seeing 1 timber here and that was about 20 years ago. I've come across countless diamondbacks, but it seems that they have been a lot more scarce in the past few years. I think the population overall is way down from what it used to be.
