More diamond backs than timber rattlers on the south end of Monroe county from what I've seen,a buddy of mine kills 5-6 big diamondbacks a year a rarely kills a timber on that end,he killed a hoss of a DB during turkey season,he almost sat down on it Interesting thing though once you get into the hills north of Monroeville, you see way more timbers. I grew up in Baldwin Co and only remember ever seeing 1 timber here and that was about 20 years ago. I've come across countless diamondbacks, but it seems that they have been a lot more scarce in the past few years. I think the population overall is way down from what it used to be.
