I've been hearing a lot about this winter being extremely cold and snow more frequently across the south. Even this week it's supposed to get down in the 50s. Anyone else hearing the same?

Nothing like pulling people out the ditch on Halloween because of all the snow.
It takes a long time to grow an old friend.

You may want to run this by "Bamaproud" on Tndeer. He used to be our resident meteorologist on here. He is usually right about the weather!

Looks like I've got to move further south again. I hate snow and never want to see it again Haha. I think you'll be safe here. Next time I'll get you some better firewood.

Stupid question, if I were go to the public land would I be able to take a tree that is already fallen and cut it up and load it up? Call Jeff Makemson(sp?). He's over Oakmulgee WMA. I think they'll allow it, but always better to ask first.

It'll be expensive to change the chain every time it gets dull. I always keep a spare chain. There are places that will sharpen it for you or you can get a file and do it yourself. If you need help with the latter, let me know. I'll help you if I can.
