I you don't need a diesel don't buy it. Fuel is too dang expensive. I have a cummins but I hate paying close to $4.00 at the pump, and its used for work. Be glad when I don't need a heavy truck anymore...just hate paying diesel prices. Im going to the Tundra Crew 4x4 on the next truck. This I agree, also looking at around $55.00 and up for oil change. Just for the record, I had a 03 GMC 2500 with the 6.0 gas burner, and that thing would and still will hand with any diesel I had. My buddy still has it, just rolled over 300,000 with the original transmission. Regret selling that truck. I agree. I buy only what I NEED. I bought an F250 gas burner new in 2011. I only use it to haul equipment. 10,000lb equipment locally. In 4 years I have less than 15,000 miles on it but have been very satisfied. Couldn't justify the cost of a desiel.
