Fwiw, I dont know if I would be spraying cleth over drought stressed clover with just a month and a half till the season comes in. Id just let it ride, it will devout with the frost. Mature crab grass is a lot harder to kill than young crab grass. If the grass has gone to seed, you might as well wait. So a guy who wasn't real sure about what he was doing would be ok to mow and spray 2-4db, and then top seed in a +/- 3 weeks?
