go buy regular old "feed" oats . you can't go wrong or get any cheaper .


find a farmer that has oats in a storage bend that are two years old or less and buy by the drum . 2 1/2 to 3 bushels to the ac .

i aint seen any kind of wheat that cheap in a long time . for wheat you need at least 2 bushels to the ac , thats two sacks or 120lbs

Feed oats there easy to plant and will grow in just about any kind of soil.

It's hard to beat wheat or oats you could also mix in a little crimson clover and some "rye grain" not rye grass.

I bought feed wheat for $7.95 a bag in Northport last week. They'll sprout just fine. I'm sure the seed grade isnt a whole lot more.

hell gonna have weeds no matter what . i just bush hog and break . weeds not that bad , it's the moody (Bermuda) grass i fight with . lol
