I wish it was just for alabama deer, Would make the contest alot tighter. Other than that the only complaint i would have is people signing up and not hunt much at all, Whats the point in joining a hunting contest if you hunt only a handful of times a year, i wish there was a way to weed that out. But hey nobody asked me  just my .02 Why do you think if the contest was only limited to this state it would be much closer? The score only reflects the number of points 1" or longer. There are plenty of bucks in this state that have just has many points as most of the deer in other states. Now if it was scored on gross score of the deer that would be a different story.
