I'm still a virgin on the 3d range ... I do WANTA shot more but I've only been one set .. I don't really even know how to score shots .. I just shoot the kill zone for 10s At BHA tournaments 90%-100% of the 12 rings are in the center of the 10. We don't shoot many upper and lower 12's. Besides, it doesn't matter what your score is. If you want to come out and shoot for kill shots and have fun then that is great. It's all about having fun and getting better at our shooting skills for hunting season. Why not let guys like him that aren't "serious 3-D shooters" but want to improve their hunting skills use a rangefinder then? We have 2 classes in the BHA central zone chapters that allow you to use a rangefinder. Or he could use a rangefinder and shoot a fun round(score won't count toward standings). If you want to shoot a fun round, you can do whatever you want.
