My south Alabama family are good folks. Can't help but like them. But in the last three years there have been four suicides (most likely one of them was a murder), two or three in jail over meth, can't remember a female cousin over fourteen that didn't get pregnant before she was fifteen, can't recall how many new cars and mobile homes that " I let the bank take it back", was the normal disposition, in family lawsuits over property, countless "I'm not taking that from anyone even if he is my boss" so they quit/got fired, it just goes on and on. I loved my grand parents and aunts and uncles. I get along with my first cousins. Rest of them I will not let in the house. I, as do others here, know what we are talking about. It doesn't get better.
