I got the same one the DI gave me in Basic in 1980. Been on my key ring ever since. Came in handy several times.

A few years ago I gave the one I was issued in 1975 to my daughter. She still has it along with my dog tags.

Got a scar on my shoulder from a p38 that a fellow recruit had on his Dog Tags, back in 1979. We were playing tackle football and it gashed the front of my shoulder..

Back in the 1968 I had a job were if you did not have one you didn't eat.
It did not pay much but I got shoot all the .223 rounds I wanted.
