We've had a cold snap the last 3 years opening of bow season. I'm hoping for another. Lows 40s opening morning at daylight.

As much as I'd like a high of 65 low upper 40's couple days after a cold front on a nice high pressure blue bird day. The kind of day you can hear them walking through the hardwoods at least 100 yds before they get to you. Gives me enough time to let my heart settle before the first deer of the year. But....
Most likely I'll get 80 and 60 with a humid south wind and the Mosquitos will be biting in some swamp with water moccasins swarming around the bottom of my tree. When I finally get to the top of a tree there is sweat dripping off the brim of my hat. And I'm so flustered ill prob drop my range finder taking it out of my pack. I can't wait! No place I'd rather be.
