RKT,

Looks like the have already discontinued it. It was new late late last year, and gunbroker had several. They are expensive though....

I haven't owned one, but that stainless x-bolt with the Dura touch stock is one of the best feeling rifles I've ever held. That's what I was gonna buy (and have a couple of inches cut off the barrel) before my bestest pal in the world hooked me up with another Remington Model 7 stainless in .308. My rifle searching is over with for a bunch of years hopefully.

I have used an Xbolt .308 with the shorter barrel but not short length of pull for the past 4 seasons. Killed 12 deer and 3 good sized hogs. I have used it stalking and stand hunting. I have never carried a better feeling rifle in my 30+ years of deer hunting. When I put the gun to my shoulder my eye natural falls behind the scope and I can instantly find my target. The gun shoots Hornady Superformance SST and GMX in 150 gr with sniper like results. I will most likely shoot this little gun for as long as I live. I have a Steyr Mannlicher that is extremely jealous of the little browning. Functions flawlessly and I hunt hard in and use climbers 99% of the time.

I have a xbolt stainless carbon fiber in 7mm08 with fluted barrel. Absolutely love it!! I hand load 140 gr Barnes ttsx for it. Getting 5/8" groups @ 100. Had to play around with bullet seat debth, powder and primer combinations but once I hit the sweet spot it's dead on!

I have 2. They are my two favorite rifles out of 6. I have a .243 and 7mm-08 in xbolt Hunter. They are both sweethearts. I bought the 243 for my son recently to go w 7-08. We both love 'em both. He is a lefty and has no prob w righty action. The 243 loves fusions in 95 gr and the 7-08 likes winchesters in 140. Some might say they are heavy but I don't beat the brush with them and resting on a shooting house window or any prop they very steady. I don't have a lead stead but use the old range provided sandbags and a Caldwell tac driver and they will both shoot fifty cent size prints. At two hundred and quarter size at 1 hundred. Action not as smooth as a tikka but I love the safety system on xbolt. Beautiful looking rifles also. Don't hesitate to,go with one if I could make one adjustment I would add a pad or limbs aver to pick up an extra 1/2 to 1" lop. I believe they are 13.50' lop stock

I bought a micro midas xbolt in .243 for my wife and kids. Sweet rifle in a true 12.5 LOP youth/women config. I paired it with a 3x9x40 zeiss conquest with tally mounts. It turned out to be a real tack driver and I expect my family will enjoy it for years to come.

Mine shot a 1/2" group at 150 yards and a 1" group at 200 today. I never thought a rifle could really feel like an extension of your arm until I held this thing smile opinion? It's an amazing rifle. All 3 bang-flops over MLK weekend hated it though.
