I picked up a used (privately owned but had never even been loaded) Sig Sauer P238 380 today, to carry in my pocket when one of my larger handguns will be more difficult to conceal. The book says the magazine holds a capacity of 6 with one in the pipe. My problem is if I put 4 or more in the magazine it won't load a shell properly when I work the slide. It works fine with 3 in the magazine and 1 in the pipe, but I really don't want a 4 shot hand gun. On the other hand I don't want to load to capacity then get in a shtf situation only to have the next bullet not load properly. I've loaded it with Remington Golden Saber HPJ, which is all Mark's had available when I stopped to pick up some ammo. I lubrixated the slide but that didn't help. Could it be due to the stiffness of the new spring in the magazine? What do y'all think? Thanks.

drop it by my house and I'll fix it. Might take two years but when you get it back it will be great.
